The Canada games team spent the summer in North Bay training in preparation of the games, which were heled in Sherbrook Quebec in late August. The event is considered the top even for amateur volleyball players in Canada and allows each province to show case there top male and female players, in both indoor and Beach.

The Ontario men’s team which Gosselin coached on finished 4th despite a soiled per-competition preparation. In early August Nipissing hosted all the top seeds and the Ontario team when 5-0 and were into the games feeling confident, despite a few injures to some key players. Ultimately the 4th place finish was a disappointment for the team, but the experience was incredible.

Gosselin continues to coach at the club level is also committed to the provincial and regional programs.    Will be coaching the U16 Boys at the Ontario Winter Games in February and will also be part of the men’s provincial program over the summer.
